I've been messing around with Analog for web stats... it's very very fast, and prod uces some good output. Stats for fugue.net are now available by clicking the link in the navigation side bar on the left. Don't kn ow how often I'll update them.

It's NHL Playoff Season.... and that means it's Hockey Pool time! This year, in what my wife calls "a fit of NHL playoff techie gee k extravaganza extraordinaire," I've written code to screen scrape stats off the NHL.com website and automatically update the pool s tandings. For those of you who care about such things, it was written mostly in Perl, with a Bourne shell wrapper, and some awk thr own in for good measure.
